Sports Direct is operated by Frasers Group Retail Limited (registered in England and Wales, company number: 03817513; registered address: Shirebrook Retail Park, Mansfield Road, Shirebrook, NG20 8RY) (“we”, “us”, “our”).
1. Eligibility to Use the Platform
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the Platform. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to make purchases or create an account.
- You warrant that all information you provide when using the Platform (e.g., account details, payment information) is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
- We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access to the Platform if we reasonably believe you are in breach of these terms or acting fraudulently.
2. Account Registration
- To access certain features (e.g., placing orders, saving payment methods, tracking orders), you may need to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account password and for all activity conducted under your account. Notify us immediately at support@sportsdirect.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

3.2 Prohibited Use
You must not:
- Use the Platform to transmit or upload any harmful, offensive, or illegal content (e.g., malware, hate speech, counterfeit product links).
- Attempt to hack, modify, or disrupt the Platform’s security or functionality (e.g., using automated bots to scrape product data).
- Use the Platform to impersonate another person or entity, or to make false claims about your identity or affiliation.
- Resell products purchased via the Platform for commercial gain without our prior written consent.
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights (e.g., copyright, trademark laws) when using the Platform.
4. Product Information and Orders
- We aim to display accurate product information (e.g., prices, sizes, descriptions, availability) on the Platform. However, we do not guarantee that all information is error-free—if you notice a discrepancy, please contact us immediately.
- All orders are subject to our acceptance. We may reject an order if: (i) the product is out of stock; (ii) there is a pricing or description error; (iii) we suspect fraudulent activity; or (iv) you fail to provide valid payment or delivery details.
- Price changes may occur without prior notice. The price charged for your order will be the price displayed at the time you complete payment (excluding delivery fees, which are outlined in our Shipping Policy).
- We reserve the right to limit the quantity of products you can order (e.g., to prevent stock hoarding during high-demand periods).
5. Intellectual Property Rights
- All content on the Platform (e.g., logos, product images, text, videos, software) is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by UK and international intellectual property laws (e.g., copyright, trademark laws).
- You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or modify any content from the Platform without our prior written permission. This includes sharing product images or descriptions on third-party websites or social media for commercial purposes.
- “Sports Direct” and our associated logos are registered trademarks of Frasers Group Retail Limited. You must not use these trademarks without our explicit consent.
6. Limitation of Liability
- To the extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Platform (e.g., loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption).
- Our total liability for any direct loss (e.g., a faulty product, delayed delivery) shall not exceed the total value of your order.
- We shall not be liable for any delays or failures in providing the Platform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, cyberattacks, third-party courier issues).
- Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for: (i) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (ii) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (iii) any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
7. Termination
- We may terminate or suspend your access to the Platform at any time, without prior notice, if you breach these terms.
- Upon termination: (i) your right to use the Platform will cease; (ii) you must stop using any content or features you accessed via the Platform; (iii) we may retain your account data for legal or regulatory purposes (as outlined in our Privacy Policy).
- You may terminate your account at any time by logging into your account settings and selecting “Delete Account”, or by contacting our customer service team.
8. Changes to These Terms
- We may update these Terms of Use from time to time to reflect changes in law, technology, or our services.
- When we make significant changes, we will notify you via email (if you have an account) or by displaying a notice on the Platform’s homepage.
- Your continued use of the Platform after the changes take effect will mean you accept the updated terms. We recommend reviewing these terms periodically.
9. Governing Law and Disputes
- These terms are governed by English law. Any dispute arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts, unless you reside in Scotland or Northern Ireland (in which case local courts shall have jurisdiction).
